The Hit Single is one of the most important Items in Rank 6, but it also has uses in Ranks 7 and 9.

Hit Singles can be obtained from:
- Every 4 Clicks on your own Solo Performance Module.
- Every 3 Clicks on your own Duo Performance Module or in a friend harvest if you are in a friend Duo Performance Module.
- Every 2 Clicks on your own Trio Performance Module or in a friend harvest if you are in a friend Trio Performance Module.
- Every Click on any Group Performance Module or in a friend harvest if you are in a friend Group Performance Module.
- The Concert Modules 1 and 2 also provide a 20% chance of winning Hit Singles. There is no Blueprint for this Item.

Hit Singles are used in obtaining Gold Albums, the Bass Guitar Blueprint, and Duo, and Trio Performance Module Blueprints. They are also used to construct the Wi-Fi Transmitter in Rank 7.
