PAL is a Rank 10 Networker that you can befriend when you reach Rank 9. Both PAL's name and his appearance are based on the character HAL from Stanley Kubrick and Arthur C. Clarke's "2001: A Space Odyssey."
His MLN description reads:
- PAL is an Artificial Intelligence Computer Program first developed in the European Union that set the global standard for Artificial Intelligence Markup Navigation Language. PAL has made valuable contributions to Fleet Command over the years especially since it has a sense of humor to add to the hard science of AI.
