As a semi-professional vandal-fighter and a semi-experienced sysop, I do know that there are those who wish to attack the wiki (we call them vandals.) But when vandals strike, don't freak out—most vandals will simply cease their attack if you keep a cool head, use formal and polite warning messages, and consult Ajraddatz, Kjhf, Mackmoron11, Nitecrew or me if the vandal is too persistent for comfort.

And one more very important message: Some vandals aren't really trying to mess up the wiki. They just don't realize that this wiki is governed by certain policies that forbid what they're doing. In fact, many "vandals" are actually trying to help, but are not aware of what is considered helpful within the wiki. There is no need to inform the admins about these incidents, since most of such pseudovandals will be sorry for their disruption and may even be happy to help edit the wiki.

Of course, there are also those that are intentionally violating policies just to make people angry. They find it very stimulating to get you and other members of the wiki flaming mad. Once again, stay calm. They're much less likely to go on wrecking the wiki if you're very calm and show no sign of your irritation. If you really need to let out some steam, go take a shower or holler at the top of your lungs for a while.
